    What to expect from DOJ?

I sent off my application for CFD this past week. Does DOJ do an initial compliance inspection before approval or is this done later? What is DOJ going to look for during this inspection? Thanks.

The DOJ never inspected me. They sent me the in paperwork, told me how to log into DROS. That was it.

My first inspection/audit came nearly three years after getting my CFD.

Good to know. I thought there was an initial inspection required. Thanks.

We had an orientation where they provide you their expectations and answer any questions.

Nothing but a paper shuffle. They rely on ATF's inspection is my guess.

That would be amazing, if true.

Got CFD approval today. Total time from app date with BATFE to ready to do business in California status was 100 long days.
