    YES! I am now an FFL3 C&R!!!

    Hi guys

Just wanted to share that now I'm part of the FFL3 crowd! After months of waiting, they finally accepted me on March 10th, just now waiting on the license to get to me! ::Sigh:: wish it came sooner! (ATF told me it takes about a couple of weeks... ugh.... i envy those who got them fast!)

To all experienced FFL3's wanted to get your opinion on what to do now (other than get a COE and sign up with midway/cabelas/etc)

I know, I know, the search fucntion is going to keep me be busy tonight but wanted to get your input since you all guys rock!

    Now to go broke!

Well.............you are still just a consumer, I hope you know.

Get the license, don't sign it. Make a bunch of copies, sign them, and send them to every vender to whom it makes a difference (discounts, etc). Keep more signed ones on hand for face to face and in the mail transactions. When your license lapses don't renew it so you can throw the bound book away and start over with a fresh app.

I think that is it, other than having a pot of money.

Sorry for the ignorance but what is the advantage of having the C&R? I know it gets confusing or a least to me it is.

Advantages? Having C&R long guns delivered directly to your house? With no DROS?
Deep dealer discounts from major retailers?
A C&R pays for itself rather quickly.

Correct. Also, there is a list ATF maintains of C&R firearms which can be accessed on their website.
