HAM license as proof of CA residency

Would a HAM radio license with an address matching one's valid CA DL count as a proof of residence for handgun purchases?

It is issued by the FCC, which is part of the Federal government, and includes my name and current California address, and has an expiration date.

PRK did not take my Ham license as proof. I had to bring in my fictitious business name statement.

I had to call around and find someone more familiar with POR requirements, turns out Fowler's was good to go, and I did it through them.

A HAM radio license has dates, including an effective date, expiration date, print date and grant date.

I don't see any reason why it would not be acceptable. Some might not be familiar with the license and perhaps that is why they would not accept it.

Because I don't have a car registration or utility bill and my DL address is different from the temporary address on my rental agreement, the HAM license is all I have that will qualify. I'll be sure to call ahead to an FFL and only bring my business to an FFL that will accept it. Thanks again.
