Is it possible to obtain an FFL in the San Diego area if you have a medical marijuana card?

You shouldn't. You shouldn't even be buying firearms due to the fact the the 4473 is a federal form

i figured that. a friend asked me if he could obtain one with the card and i wasnt completly sure of the answer. thanks for the response

Interestingly enough, acquiring firearms legally isn't possible as a user of a marijuana. You'd have to lie on a federal form. So if they aren't prosecuting perjury, then I need to redo my taxes.

Maybe you meant, "acquiring firearms in a way that would would be legal, if you weren't an illegal drug user."
