FFL in San De eggo

So my son (Marine @ Pendelton), want a new .40 XDM with high caps.

1. My assumption is that since he is .mil he will be allowed to purchase a regular XDM kit (not Kali neutered) with his mil ID?
2. Can anyone recommend a good FFL down there?

Military is not exempt from the CA safe handgun list or the high cap magazine restriction. The only thing a military ID is good for really is an exemption for the HSC and safe handling demo.

Gusslers in Santee is a good FFL. Get a single shot exemption of the XDM through Valkyre Tactical. He will be stuck with 10 round mags until that crud is rendered moot sometime in the next two weeks

Now that is hysterical, my son can use a SAW all day.......effectively....but when he is back in PRK, he still has to deal with Kalis BS! .

I've dealt with both and had no issues. Gussler's is straight forward, out of his garage. Parallax is a store and I needed some minor work done and they went above and beyond my expectations.
