"Closed" Thank you for the input I received...

Sold a couple items to someone off of one of the gun auction sites. Non considered a gun and would not have to go through an FFL to ship here. I had it setup that I would not sell out of the states. But I was made an offer and I accepted.
The more I checked into it, the more I found it was going to be an issue for me to ship it as it is out of country.
I am looking for someone that is setup as Import/Export that can do this for me. I have googled but not come up with anything substantail or logical.
If there is someone that can legally do this for me, please contact me.
    thank you

    Item and Gunbroker

Your freedom is not worth the chump change whether it is a legit request or a fishing expedition by an alphabet agency.
Thank you for the reply and information. I have never tried to ship anything out of country before and it is obvious that he was trying to dupe me into sending something and putting myself at certain risk. The item is something that not many would be intertested in. Would take a certain group of people to be interested in it. I know it is not overpriced and I have seen what others have gone for. There was another one that was put up and not in as good of codition along with the fact that it had been marked up supposedly by the GI who brought it back but that could have been fabricated. Eveerything on this one is direct from the Erma factory. His numbers did match though.. Must have been what made the difference. All I know is I am not goint to ship but GB has already hit my account for the sale and charged me. Thank you again.

There are a number of items that fall under ITAR (International Trafficking in Arms Regulations) that are quite surprising. Very country specific, for example handcuffs are considered "torture devices" in certain countries. If you want to PM me, we can chat off-line

When posting anything on GB, I would stipulate no sales other than the United States.

And probably increased charge's to AK and HI.

I did have it listed as lower 48 CONUS only or to that effect. I was emailed first and asked if I would ship over there. As I have never done any shipping out of country before but knowing that what this consists of does not require any ffl, I ASSUMED that it would just flow without any problem. Now I have asked around looking for someone who can or can direct me to an exporter.
But at this point, I don't think that I am going to want to hassle this even though have been trying to sell for some time. I honestly thought it would have sold a long time ago as hard as they are to find and the actual pretty low price I have on it. Every week there are 3-9 people watching the auction but no one ever bids... go figure... I have even drop the price a couple hundred bucks.

It's a buyer's market right now. The bubble has burst to an extent and people are waiting for the dirt cheap deals. It is what it is.

Which country did they want it shipped to?
There are no great men. Just great challenges which ordinary men, out of necessity, are forced by circumstance to meet.
