    Manufacturer Warranty Replacement Question

    Hi,

I purchased a pistol in Nov 2010. It's been back for repair multiple times. The manufacturer is now sending a totally new pistol to replace my bad one. It is being sent directly to my FFL locally where I purchased the original one.

Does this Warranty replacement pistol (DROS) need a 10 day waiting period?

Does this warranty replacement count towards my state allotted 1 in 30 days purchase?

Thanks in advance FFL's. AG DOJ site wasn't specific. I appreciate the sound FFL related info shared on this forum.

Yes, you have a 10 day wait.
Yes, it is a dealer transfer so it would be subject to 1 in 30 rule.

Be glad it's not a non-roster pistol, or you wouldn't get it back at all unless you are exempt from the roster.

I hope the manufacturer has offered to reimburse you for any fees associated with the transfer. That is standard procedure in cases like this.
