If I had a Colt Python, early 80s, that came from the original owner and was never registered, and I wanted to sell it, how would I go about doing so???

How and when did you obtain it?

You'd sell it the same way you'd sell any gun you own. The fact that it is unregistered doesn't change anything about how you sell it. Transfer the gun to the buyer through an FFL.
