Do you need an ffl license to sell ammo in CA?

If so what type. I am already a business owner and am aware of insurances and local business fees. Thanks

No FFL is required, unless you plan to manufacture it or import ammunition from outside the country.

OK. That works for me for now. So you do need an ffl import from say Russia or I can find a wholesaler here.

You would need an 08 FFL to import from outside the country. Yeah, there are wholesalers who will be happy to deal with you.
