Out of state ffl/gunsmith to convert revolver to single action

I am looking for an out of state ffl/gunsmith to help convert S&W revolvers to single action and then ship them here to ca. Already found a local ffl that is willing to accept but finding a modle man that knows what their doing has been harder to find. If anyone know anyone please let me know.
    Thanks

Why out of state? Given that both 01 and 02 FFLs are exempt from the roster why not ship it to the FFL and have them send it to the gunsmith?

As far as converting multiple revolvers, if you're doing this for anymore than a couple revolvers it might behoove you to simply have a machine shop make a SAO sear that could simply be dropped in by any gunsmith or shop if they have the proper license.

I was under the impression the gun needed to be shipped in roster compliant and it could not be done on state.

Yes...you are correct. If a non roster gun is to be shipped in and modified, it would have to go to an 07 FFL.
