Actualy my FFL hasent recieved one of the handguns yet but the other one
is on its way directly from the seller to my house using his FFL,he is sending it due to the fact it is a CZ-52 and C&R eligable,
I hope this does not add up to another infraction

      Thanks

Are intra-familia transfers of handguns from out of state limited to 1/30? That is, what if someone's father who lives out of state wants to transfer 2 handguns to his daughter in CA, do the transfers need to be done 30days apart?

I have a C&R (never used it) and its my understanding that even C&R pistols have to go through a DROS here in Cali.

So once i recieve this handgun i need to take it to a 01FFL for a DROS.
And if so it will show 2 handgun purchases in a 30 day period.
I am filling out my COE paper work a bit after the fact as i am a noob.
Just found out about the 30 day rule.

You should not be receiving any handguns at all...taking possession of a handgun without an FFL is a no-no unless it's an antique. The handgun needs to go directly to an FFL from the seller/vendor.

I was informed ALL handguns require a DROS - No such thing as a cash-n-carry pistol in CA - Not even for antique/collectibles.

I almost bought an old Nagnant revolver and would've had to DROS through an FFL also...

I did send him my 03FFL and it is a C&R handgun.
I want to follow the law so how can i rectify this situation if the handgun has been sent?

Even with your 03 you are not legally able to take possession of any handguns in CA without an FFL unless it is an antique.

If it's already been shipped, there isn't much to do...you can't un-ring a bell. You might try to find an FFL near you and explain the situation to them...it's up to them what they want to deal with. They may not want to take the firearm from you because they've no idea who sent it to you. You may want to ship the firearm back to the previous owner and have them ship it to your FFL. Or you might just put the gun in your bound book and not do it again in the future.

C&Rs yes...antiques no. An antique (manufactured before 1899) is not considered a "firearm" by DOJ or BATFE definitions.

I like the last option the best, but i have a local dealer i will talk to about it.
I can also email the seller and see if he has sent it yet and explain the CA situation,( you would think he would know) and i was trying to save 50+25.
                            perhaps theres a loophole.
