    Dros on Different color frame?

The FNH FNP 9, comes in a black or dark earth color frame. The black is listed on the CA roster. The dark earth is the same gun, just a different color frame. I thought I saw somewhere it can be registered with the different color grip?
Thanks in advance for any input.

PC 12131.5 says that guns that are the same as guns already on the Roster, but differ only in
    (1) Finish, including, but not limited to, bluing, chrome-plating,
    oiling, or engraving.
    (2) The material from which the grips are made.
    (3) The shape or texture of the grips, so long as the difference in
grip shape or texture does not in any way alter the dimensions,
material, linkage, or functioning of the magazine well, the barrel,
the chamber, or any of the components of the firing mechanism of the
    firearm.
    (4) Any other purely cosmetic feature that does not in any way alter
the dimensions, material, linkage, or functioning of the magazine
well, the barrel, the chamber, or any of the components of the
    firing mechanism of the firearm.
can skip TESTING, but the gun still must be added to the Roster before it can be sold to non-exempt buyers.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

The different colored grip is technically not on the roster. As was stated, it still needs to be paid for and placed on the list.

      California sucks.

Just more ammo to help take down the roster....provided by the roster itself.

You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.
