FFL Question about OL Handgun sales

    Hello

I have a few questions for the knowledgable people on this forum.

First of all, if you have several used off list handguns and become a FFL, does this limit you from ever selling them through a PPT? If you decided to get rid of the OL guns, would you have to then sell them to another FFL or LEO?

Secondly, does obtaining your FFL make it easier, in the more difficult Counties, to acquire a CCW? I live in Ventura County and I know the process takes around a year+. Just wondering if this would help expedite the process???

    Thanks in advance

I did some research on your first question and there is some debate on whether you can PPT or not. Practically speaking, if you take your pistol and make yourself the seller on the PPT, no one is going to notice or care. If you are really paranoid you can PPT it at someone else's shop.

Someone else will have to answer the Ventura CCW question. I know in Kern County it would make you a shoe in for a CCW. That doesn't mean you would get it any faster than anyone else, it just means you would get one.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
