Is an expired Dr Lic with a valid extension okay for ID? I've got two of these guys lately, I guess the DMV is getting back logged or something.

Can't do a DROS without the valid CDL. I know, I tried a few months ago and was told to wait for the original. -
Search under "DMV". Known issue, appears Cal DOJ knows, but BATFE is causing problems.I don't care what you call me, just don't call me late for dinner. Stupid Idiot will suffice, after all, it's only words.

Well that is a bummer. DMV seems to be seriously lagging lately. Took me six weeks to get my new drivers license just a few months ago. I was running around with my old expired license and a little slip of paper from the DMV stating it was valid while I waited for the new picture ID to show up.
Seems logical that if you have a photo ID and the only thing on it not valid on it is the expiration date and then the DMV gives you a piece of paper extending that date it should be good enough.
Oh, my mistake, I used logic.
