Some get it, some not so much!

We got in a WASR-10 for transfer that had not only the pistol grip removed, but also a bullet button installed. A 10 round mag was included but was rattling around the box.

The kicker was a signed letter from both the transferring FFL and the sender stating the following (paraphrased):

"I am sending an AK47 ASSAULT RIFLE with the following serial number:"

Attached was the guys license.

/sigh

1) Not an assault rifle (select fire)
2) Not an CA assault rifle (not on list, no evil features)

However the sending FFL was kind enough to do the CFLC letter. Hope you guys get a laugh out of this.

Don't get it. Why are we diss'n these guys? We've got few friends left, and here's two at least willing to try everything to get us legal firearms. Who can understands all our laws anyway? We ought to thank them for their efforts, let them know not all of it was necessary so that they'll continue to help and save our jibs at those unwilling to even extend a hand.
