    Shot show tickets

    OK, I filled out the online application using my C&R number. Now what happens? Do I get the ticket mailed to me or does it come online? How long until I hear something? Can I take a guest?

      check your email,

      you should get something like this;

      validation@shotshow.reedexpo.com
      Fax #: (203) 840-9409

      Please review the information below.
      at that point you need to provide a copy of your C&R FFL to validate your registration.

      they will then send you a confirmation that you are registered.

        OK, so I comitted to working the FCSA booth for most of one day. But, it's sort of nice to have a booth to stash stuff at during the show. Also,
        I really enjoyed working the booth last year. ke6guj even hung out there and pushed FCSA membships for most of the day that the FCSA BOD had their annual BOD meeting.

          yah, it was cool to be able to take a load off and shoot the **** a bit and talk to people at the show from the other side of the table.

              Documentation demonstrating current shooting, hunting and outdoor trade affiliation
              Still say you DON'T need a FFL or C&R Almost any retail sales tax ID will work fine .You sell Bows Camo Spotting scopes ect nothing to do with guns just hunting stuff and outdoors stuff. They want as many people as they can to attend-Think to join NSSF you need the gun connection. But not to go to the Shot Show .More than 1/2 of the exhibitors have nothing to do with guns or Loaded ammo .

                  Everyone needs a ticket and a badge. How many tickets and badges can you buy? I have never heard of a limit.

                    Gotcha, I kinda figured as an industry only event I'd be able to bring an "employee" or two in with my pass. So each person needs to register independently, but under my company name...

                      That is correct. No badge, no entrance. No one under 16.

                        I think anyone can register. I registered 2 weeks ago and received my badge on the mail today. I just paid $25, they didn't ask for credentials or anything.

                          The SHOT Shows greed could end up being its downfall. If legitimate buyers can't get around their confusing show and there are nothing but looky lous there, why not just go to a wholesaler show instead where you know you aren't going to have to wade through a sea of camera jockey's?

                          I mean at least make it some what of a challenge to get a ticket.
