    Dangerous weapons permit Q's

Alright fellas, here's some brain picking for you. I am interested in obtaining an assault weapons permit for professional training and can't get anyone at DOJ to answer this. What is required to obtain an assault weapon permit or "destructive device" permit? Do I have to have an FFL to do this?

Unobtainium for the mere citizen...you would have to be an FFL (or I should say it would be easier if you were one) and then get the AW permit...lot's of money involved...requirements up the wazoo...that's why there are so few AW dealers...and the fees for transferring said AWs is astronomical.

There is this for your reading enjoyment though.

I appreciate the info. It was an interesting read. I almost vomited in the back of my throat, but then again, whenever I see California's legislation at it's finest, I always get nausious.
