I am trying to sell a used but less then 1 year old handgun, and the purchaser claims he has a C&R FFL. Is he able do all the paperwork himself or will we still have to go to a regular FFL?

No you must use a 01 FFL for any handgun transfers in Ca.
His is a 03 C&R FFL only, he cannot purchase or sell non C&R firearms with his 03.Originally Posted by Sic Boy

The only instances you don't have to go to an 01 FFL for a handgun transfer is intrafamilial transfers between CA resident father/son grandfather/grandson, or for antique firearmsOriginally posted by orangegloWelcome to failtown, population = you.Comment
