I purchased a Draco AK-47 Pistol while living out of state earlier in the year. What do I need to do to legally bring it into the state. If it's possible at all. I have read that per PC 12276.1 it is not an assault weapon if I install mag lock and 10 round mags.

Install the mag lock before you bring it to CA, only use 10-rd mags, and send in the voluntary registration form and $19 (welcome to California, we'll squeeze your wallet dry for your own good) when you bring it to CA.

Wow! That's it? That seems so simple. I read all the red tape horror stories, and hoop jumping. I thought I would have to do a bunch of paperwork, shipping, give up my first born, etc.
