what if i buy 2 c&r handguns from sog and have them sent to a local 01ffl,will have to pay double dros on them??

If you have a C&R FFL and COE, then you can DROS both at the "same" time, which means you get a discount of $4 on the second handgun.

I am going to ask a lazy question. How do you get the discount on the DROS?

Well, it is easy if both firearms are of the same type, such as a C&R, you just click on the additional firearm at the bottom of the web page after the first DROS is submitted.

If one is a C&R and the other is a modern firearm, then you have to call the DROS entry number and have a nice chat with them about getting the discount, most likely talk to the supervisor and in general take a long time to get what is right done.

The system needs to be fixed, but neither side (DROS entry company, I forget who it is right now, and the DOJ) wants to be responsible and it is always the fault of the other side.
