How to do a ppt?

I bought new handgun from a local dealer 2 weeks ago.

Looking to purchase a gun from a private party in So Cal

How would I do a private party transfer? What are the costs?

I understand that does not count toward the 30 day wait for purchasing another gun...correct?

You go into a gun shop with the seller. You tell them you want to do a PPT. Have with you your ID, your HSC or exemption, and your proof of residency. The seller needs their ID. Someone pays the dealer $35. Done.
