Will you please tutor me the differences of 01, 03, and 07 license? What is the major function of each one?

Can I buy 30 AR style receivers at once if I don' t have any license?

01FFL= dealer in title 1 firearms, can deal in title 2 firearms with SOT
03FFL= collector license for C&R firearms
06FFL= manufacturer of ammo
07FFL= manufacturer of ammo and title 1 firearms. Can make title 2 firearms with SOT.

yes, as a non-licensee, you can buy 30 AR receivers at once, if you wish. However, CADOJ and ATF may look twice at you in the future to make sure you are not dealing without a license.

If you don't have an 01 or 07, don't act like a dealer, which buying 30 receivers to flip is.

yes, it is possible to get an home-based 01FFL if your local zoning ordinances allow for home-based 01FFLs. Many/most cities now a days do not allow for it. If you aren't zoned for it, ATF is not supposed to issue you the FFL. Then, after you have the FFL, you get to deal with CADOJ and get the proper CA licensing to be a dealer in CA so that you can buy and sell.
