Good Cause Letter for High Cap Mag Permit

Submitted my application for a High Cap Mag Permit last week, and it was bounced back b/c I didn't include a good cause letter. What is it that they are looking for? You can pm me if you do not want to post it.

I was just honest about it. I cater to LE during the course of my regular business and would need to have the permit in order to supply them when needed.

It is also good cause if you are selling firearms/magazines out of state as part of your business, buying firearms which have a high capacity magazine and exchanging it, etc. You don't have to sell to LEO to have a valid reason.

I said I sell them to law enforcement. I don't think I even mentioned anything about out of state sales.

Since you are selling items from your website that you are automatically catering to out of state buyers.

Sounds like you have two good reasons in this thread. Good luck.

Can anyone teach me the procedure to get a high caps mag permit? This is the first time ever even hearing about it. I'm very interested.

Or is it just for FFL dealers?
