1) Proof of residency: I will be living with my parents and have no car to my name (lame, I know), so I don't have any rental agreements, utility bills or car titles in my name. I do have a passport but have heard that those are not allowed. Am I SOL?

2) What would a firearm safety demonstration look like with a single-shot modified AK pistol with a non-detachable magazine (Bullet Button)?

if you have zero forms of POR and are unwilling to go the steps to acquire POR, then yes, you could be SOL. that said, get some POR and you'll be fine. set up a rental agreement with your parents and there is your POR. Or get a C&R FFL and you have POR. and there are many more ways to acquire POR.

No, a passport does not show POR. Take a look at it sometime. Where does it document your residency, it doesnt.
