The Wilkinson Arms Linda is not listed on the approved list and also needs to be modified to be CA legal.

Since, it is not on the approved list, it will needed to be modifed as a single-shot pistol (magazine lock + 0 round magazine), in order to be imported into CA.

After it is DROS'd and the 10 day wait, it can be legally modified to use detachable magazines, with the removal of the "barrel shroud" and the magazine lock. If the "barrel shroud" is not removed, then it needs to have a magazine lock and the use of 10 round or less magazines.

I think that the "shroud" is actually the receiver. You do need to get the barrel nut threads turned off though and the wood "hand guard" has to go. Below is a reg AW

The wood handguard on the Wilkinson Arms Linda is considered a "barrel shroud".

        Penal Code 12276.1
        (a) Notwithstanding Section 12276, "assault weapon" shall also mean any of the following:
        (4) A semiautomatic pistol that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any one of the following:
        (A) A threaded barrel, capable of accepting a flash suppressor, forward handgrip, or silencer.
        (B) A second handgrip.
        (C) A shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel that allows the bearer to fire the weapon without burning his or her hand, except a slide that encloses the barrel.
        (D) The capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip.
        (5) A semiautomatic pistol with a fixed magazine that has the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds.

There was some debate (I spent some time on the phone with one of the gun lawyers, fun fun) on the receiver possibly being considered a "shroud" and the wood on the front possibly being a handgrip or second handgrip. I'm not saying I have definitive answers even though I spent money to find them
