    30 day wait before buying from a Pawn shop?

    Sorry if this has been discussed before, I did a search and couldnt find what I was looking for so....

    I just bought a new pistol 10 days ago and was wondering if I had to wait 30 days before buying a used one at a pawn shop? As I understand it I can buy as many as I can afford per month private party but what about a Pawn shop?

      It depends on whether the DROS is submitted as a dealer sale or a private party sale. The pawn shop would have to be selling it as a consignment to be a PPT.

      You would only have to wait 20 days since it has already been 10 days.
