    What are the laws ?

I have a M1A that I bought quite a few years ago before all the no bayo lug / flash hider crap. I would like to sell it now and am wondering if I need to buy a non lugged brake to sell it in Ca. ? I also have a lot of Mil spec 20 rd mags / do I have to take them apart and sell as rebuild kits?
I also have a Mil spec Birtch E2 stock for it/ it has a pistol grip. Is this a Taboo stock or can I sell it with the rifle ? Any help would be great as I do not want to break any of the many many laws here in Kalifornia.

bayonet lugs are not regulated in CA.

However, a stock M1a with a flash hider is an Assualt Weapon, and illegal to possess in CA unless you registered it specifically as an Assault Weapon in 2000. Use of a pistol grippped stock on an M1a with a standard mag release is also illegal. Possession of the stock, separate from the rifle, is not illegal (no constructive possession regs for AWs).

With limited exemptions, It is illegal to sell large-capacity magazines, so you would need to sell them disassembled, as rebuild kits.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
