I recently purchased a rifle via gunbroker from an out of state FFL. The dealer I purchased it from is in PA and is a little concerned about CA laws. The dealer is ia pretty decent guy and I'd like to help him out. Plus, I'd like to have my rifle mailed to me.
What is the process for an out of state FFL to get signed up with the DOJ so he can ship firearms into CA. I told the dealer about Cal Guns, but i thought i'd get things rolling now.
I have a C&R license and have no idea if that exempts an out of state dealer from having to go through the DOJ system. I just want to help the guy out, get my rifle mailed to me and it sounds like another CA bound rifle is caught in limbo.
Is there a website or a list of instructions I can give the guy. I want my rifle and I'd like to set one more out of state dealer that will ship to CA.
