KMart, no really. I just use a lined notebook, and it stays in the safe so I don't mix it up with other common notebooks.

If you want a bond book that is a little more than a note book you can buy one of these or find one of these at a cheaper site.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

I have one for the official a&d book that I downloaded in pdf format from surplusrifle.com and put in a binder with pockets for receipts and documentation for just the C&R stuff. I also have one from the book factory in leather with my name embossed on it with every firearm I own in it. Each firearm has a page with all the A&D info and a "4x6" photo that I did on each one as a still life. I keep that one separate and it serves for both insurance documentation as well as a "virtual collection" in case I want to show something to a friend without dragging it out of the safe.

A "bound book" need not be bound nor a book. As stated, there are pdf files around. I can also send you an OpenOffice document, if you want. It is easier to edit.
