    I dont know?

    Guy's I am asking for help here ...A guy ows me $$$ and want's to give me a pistol in return, this is great but I dont want it, can I sell it without registering it to my name?? if so I will list it here otherwise I cant. Thanks

    No, he cannot just hand you the pistol, you need to do a private party tranfer, and pay the DROS fee, wait 10 days, then pick up. The same process if you sell it.

    ETA: you need to take the test and pay for a handgun safety card also.

        Ruger auto loaders are not the most popular, most love their revolvers, the 40 cal is hit or miss, some love the cal, other don't.

          $$250 I think I can get $300 $325 for the gun or trade for something? it is in 96+% cond with two mags and case and finger groove grips. if not no big lose. at least it is an attemp to pay me back!

            I think so. You need to take into account your costs to get the pistol legally registered to you.

              It is also possible to have a FFL sell it on consignment for you. It can be taken in as under the ownership of the FFL and then sold for you, but if it does not sell, you would have to do all the paperwork to get it back. This assumes that it is on the certified list. Ruger is fun with the certified list since the common name is not used.

              If you have to get it transferred to you first, then add $35 to your cost.
