Selling an OLL and need help

I have some OLL's listed for sale here on calguns. I'm from nor cal and most the potential buyers are from so cal.

My question is, what do I need to do to sell the OLL to them?

Can I just ship it to their FFL from my house or do I have to ship it from one of my local FFL's to their FFL?

Is there any paperwork on my end that I would have to do?

Someone told me I have to accompany the receiver for transaction. Is this true?

I'm trying to do this legitimently. I've never done a PPT before any advise from FFL's would be greatly appreciated.

Call the FFL who is doing the transfer. Some are good with you mailing it directly with a copy of your drivers license. Some want it shipped from a FFL.

    Depends on the shop.

Legally, you can ship the OLL directly to the FFL, but as stated, some FFLs won't accept firearms from non-FFLs by means of a shipment.

There is no paperwork that you need to do, other than properly shipping it. Remember, it is considered a firearm.

If you want to do the transaction as a PPT, then you would need to go to the FFL. This limits the fee that the FFL can charge. Otherwise the FFL can charge anything that they can get. So, no, you need not accompany the receiver.

It is only a PPT if both parties go to the FFL. You can sell it and just do it as a "normal" transfer.

thanks guys. I called the prospective FFL's and both said it was cool to ship the receivers via UPS or Fed-Ex with a copy of my driver's license. I guess it all depends on the FFL holder and what their protocol/policy is. And one of them did concur that it is legal for me a private person to ship the OLL to an FFL.

        Thanks again!
