It will be my 1st purchase online and my 3rd firearm purchase. I know I need to find an FFL Dealer in my area to accept the firearm transfer.

My question is why do different FFL Dealers charge different prices?

I live in the city of Bell in the Los Angeles area this is the list of FFL Dealers I contacted in my area and the Fees they charge.

The amount varies because CA FFL dealers can legally charge any amount to do a non-private party transfer.

$75 total cost is a decent transfer price. Anything below that amount is good deal.
IMO...If it's more than $75, then don't do a transfer with that FFL dealer.

have you tried asking your local dealers what price they can get you if they special order one? Even if they charged your MSRP, you could probably get one out the door for around $265 or less, which wouldn't be much more than it would cost you once you mail order it, get it shipped, and then pay DROS+Transfer.

I'd look at galleryofguns to see what the OTD pricing some of your local FFLs would charge, but they are out of stock on them right now.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
