    CTD FFL list

The Cheaper Than Dirt ffl list shows many local kitchen table ffls in my area. It looks like anyone can add an ffl to the list, possibly without permission from the ffl.

To use their services, is it best to just call for fees and xfer pricing? Most don't have a store front and are located in residential areas. I'm looking for cheaper fees close to my location.

How do non store front ffls prefer to do business?

Looks to me like they used the complete ATF list of all FFLs (and an old one at that). I know for a fact that some of the ones they have listed for my area no longer hold an FFL and have no business going.

What are you getting from CTD that needs an FFL?

    Yes, call first.

I quit buying from CTD as they won't ship anything good to CA. I followed a link and ended up there and was surprised at the number of local ffls. I will call for info prior to any purchase.

Some places will list a FFL if they ever order from them.

In one case, I received a firearm from a place that I had done business with, but had never talked to this person. This was due to being listed with them and no contact was required.
