I purchased a long gun from a certain retailer that sells guns as well,.. and I am currently waiting the 10 days, well my question is can I cancel the process and get my money back before I pick up the gun? I know the $25 DROS fee is not refundable

Call them up and ask them. They may charge a re-stock fee or something to pay for their time. There should be something posted as to their policy. I would go and talk to them in person.
Easier to tell you no over the phone than in person.

Good for you. What ever the reason you decided not to take it, I am glad you can get your money back and use it the way you need to.
