My uncle wants to buy a scoped .357 6" barrel revolver through guns america. Dan wesson revolvers are not on DOJ list. is he out of luck? I don't see why it wold not be an approved firearm..

State Roster
If it's not on the Roster and it's not exempt (ie: single action, olympic) it dosn't come into CA. You're dealing with the people's republik, so it dosn't have to make sense. -
its not an approved firearm because Dan Wesson doesn't currently make revolvers, so they probably don't feel it is cost effective to submit their discontinued firearms for roster testing and then to pay the yearly roster listing fees.Jack
