I did an intrafamilial transfer a while ago and I'm wanting to see if the gun is listed in my name now. Is that something an FFL can check on easily?

CalDOJ will mail you a letter once they have processed your Intrafamilial Handgun Transfer form. It can take them several months to enter it into the computer. The handgun legally belongs to you the second that your family member hands it to you. You don't have to wait for CalDOJ to process your form. The law even says you can own the handgun for up to 30 days before notifying CalDOJ of the transfer.__________________
