    armorers course

Can a non FFL holder take an armorers course, from Glock etc.?? I would like to attend some courses, but in the info area, it asks if your a ffl holder etc. I'm confused.

End result, is i've been tossing around the ideal of a gun shop. I want to get started with my credentials, knocking out the easy part too. Its hard to find somebody who will talk with you and explain the process, so if anybody knows the know how, and does not mind chatting, pm me!! I would appreciate your time.

But as for the courses, any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

As I was poking around, I did notice that, and looked it up. $350 for a life time membership. 1k rds. ammo needed, $150 for the class, I need a Glock, and I'll be alright! I looked up HK courses, but it seems they are only offered back east to LEO and Military. I guess I better get working on getting some cash for a Glock now, any other manufacturers offer armorers courses you know of? Thanks!

SIG used to occasionally list "dealers" as acceptable but I haven't seen one of those courses being offered in a long time. They were putting one on in Santa Rosa a few years back. When I called to get signed up, I was not treated very well (think red-headed stepchild) and was discouraged from attending. Eventually, I was told the class was full.
