Have you updated your address with the DMV? If so, then as stated above, there is not really any issue. You can also write your new address on the back of your license, which is nice for the FFL, but does not really help with the proof of residency.

        Need help W/ ppt question

PPT for Handgun. ATF Requires that the 4473 address must match the CDL/ID. If it don't match then you must have a government issued item that has your name and the address used on the 4473. Writing the address on the back of the CDL satisifies State but does not satisify Federal requirements. When you go to DMV they are to issued a date stamped DL-43 (Change of Address) that is carried with the drivers license until you one with the correct address. Proof of residency is a state requirement and a utility bill (Others on DOJ's website) will work. Most people use a vehicle registration for proof of residency for the state and to validate the address on the 4473 as it is issued by a governmental agency.

If you don't have a vehicle registration or other state issued proof of residency, you can always go to the DMV and get a 3 year driver history printout which will also be acceptable provided you have updated your address in DMV records.
