Need to know...

When you sell a gun and it is going to be sent to another state, when you receive the buyer's dealer's FFL, is it suppose to have or is it necessary to have the address that the gun is going to be shipped to on the FFL?
Is it legal to ship to an address other than what is on the FFL?
I kinda need this info pronto if anyone can reply soon...

Only ship to the premises address on the FFL.

I would only ship to the premises address on the FFL, not the mailing address.

There is a bit of a conflict on this as the BATF does say that you can ship to another address, but that seems to conflict with the law. I forget where that is stated. I know I asked about it because I was shipping a firearm and there was no USPS service to the address (political aspects in a small town). I was told that I could ship it to the owner's home address, but I did not consider that to be acceptable.

I was pretty sure that is the law anyway. i just thought I would ask another stupid question as that I am known for them... lol..
