quick DROS question

I want to buy a hand gun down south for a deal (I am N Cal, if shipped trans fees = not a good deal) and I will only be down there passing through, can I sign all my DROS papers and just have them ship it after 10 day to my place.... I am pretty sure I have to come back and sign that I have received but I just wanted to check.... Hope this has not been answered yet (probably has) but nothing turned up in search.... thanks

No. You have to be there to start the paperwork, then physically pick up after 10 days (and before 30 days pass)
