    Rim Fire Rifle

Are there the same limits on a rim fire 22 rifle as there are on center fire guns (i.e. background checks, 10 day wait, etc)? A 19 year old ex-foster child of ours is looking at a Mossberg 705 Plinker.

    Thanks,
    George

    Definition of a Veteran:
A veteran - whether active duty, reserve, national guard or retired - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." - That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Tell him to keep saving his pennies for a bit and get a Ruger 10/22 or Marlin Model 60. The Mossberg 702 Plinkster doesn't get very good reviews.
