PPT or FFL Glock CCF Race Frame

I'm building a competition Glock and I need a FFL to help me transfer a race frame. The frame is non roster and I know a few people have done it before. Let me know what I need to do.

How did they do it then?

There is no way for me to DROS a non-rostered handgun to anyone except law enforcement. That is all I can do.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

Talked to a couple of calgunners who have them. Said they did PPT transfers. Both said the previous owners were from out of state that just moved to California. Hhhmmm don't know...

      Here's a good example: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ight=ccf+frame

right, PPTs are one exemption to the roster requirement. So find someone who has what you want that you can do a PPT and then both of you go to the FFL to the PPT. So, do you already have this CCR frame lined up and just need the FFL to do the PPT, or are you asking for an FFL to help you with locating the frame?

Now, once you get there, even PPT DROSing a bare frame may be difficult since you have to do the handgun saftey demo. Hard to do the demo with a stripped frame.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

The frame has already been located and can easily be in California. The question is, does the person selling me the frame have to be a California resident? He will be with me during the PPT process since he travels to California to visit family.

yes, the seller must be a CA-resident to be able to PPT DROSed as a roster-exempt transfer. If the selier isn't a CA-resident, then it would be considered a regular transfer, which is not exempt from the roster.
