    San Diego FFL Licensing

    Hey there FFLs,

I'm moving down into San Diego and moving my existing office into a commercial building. How hard is it to obtain an FFL? I've heard that a licensee has to be approved by the city council?

    Thanks!

Call the local business license issuing authority and ask them for the address you want to use. They are the only ones that can tell you their zoning rules.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

Your best bet is the city planner. They were a lot of help for me.

UPDATE: Shortly after the date I posted the question I went down to City Hall and had the zoning people check it out. I already knew the zoning before I signed the lease, but I wanted to be extra sure. So I annoyed a guy at the zoning desk repeatedly.
