I wanted to buy a gen 3 Glock 19 frame. Just the frame only for a build project. Am I able to "import" one from out of state, like if I found one on Gun Broker for example, or does it have to be a complete firearm?

I understand the frame legally constitues the firearm and will have to be DROS'd etc. Just wondering if I can impot just the frame.

No, Has to be an originally configured and rostered firearm in this case. There are exceptions, but none would apply in this case.

You can PPT just a frame if you can find one locally.

Frames are not on the roster, so PPT or some other exemption you probably do not have would be required.
