May I assume that a retailer is exempt from collecting the 11% excise tax if the gross retail receipts for the sale of firearms and/or ammunition amount to less than $5,000.00 in any given quarter?

Am I reading that subsection correctly?????

That is how I've been reading it. I was hoping it would be higher. I wonder if that threshold includes out of state sales.
