    Buying used non-roster gun

Looking for used Glock 43X. No luck at local shops. Is it permissible/legal to buy a USED one from out of state (via GunBroker or similar) if the selling FFL ships to my local FFL for the waiting period etc? Thanks

No, the CA handgun roster currently doesnt have glock 43x listed.

I understand the 43X is non-roster. That said, I can buy a used one in California. What I'm wondering is whether I can buy an out of state used one through a site like gunbroker and have it shipped by their FFL to my FFL in California.

            Just to expand ...

One could buy a used 43X in CA from some other CA resident who has one to sell. That's the California Person to Person Private Party Transfer, PPT, and it's exempt from the Roster in 2023. (EDIT: oops, thanks for the correction)

But out of state to CA FFL to a CA resident is NOT a California PPT, so the Roster applies.

It can be bought but it has to be face to face at an FFL.

Has to be ppt with both parties at the FFL even if the gun is bought in CA it can't be shipped to a CA FFL for transfer.

In addition, the seller also has to be a California resident
