    Model number on PPT

If I?m buying a factory Glock 19 with an aftermarket slide from a private party and the aftermarket slide does not have the word ?Glock? on it, wouldn?t it still be considered a Glock handgun on the paperwork because it?s an actual Glock 19 frame?
    Thanks for the help.

Still a Glock as the serialized frame is Glock.

So, as the dealer doing the transfer, you will still write down the model name or number on the form as Glock right?

What slide and barrel are on it have zero impact on anything. The frame is the gun. If you desire, PPT just the frame and take the slide and barrel home.

I did do that. I purchased the g19 frame and did a ppt with the seller. However, later on,it was declined as part of my wife?s and I?d CCW roster because it is listed only as a frame. One way I could think of is doing ppt or intrafamilial transfer with it now as an entire handgun. The clerk insisted he needs to put none on the model number in the form because the slide does not state Glock 19 even though the frame is an actual Glock 19 frame with actual factory serial number and internals. Looking for other FFLs who have input on this.

Model would be “none marked”. It’s not a G19 if it doesn’t say 19 anywhere on it

That?s the unfortunate side effect of firearms with the model number marked on the slide and not the frame. If you transfer just the frame or frame with an aftermarket slide, there is no model number to record.
