    Home FFL and SB1384

So, for other home based FFL's - how are you getting ready for the implementation of the new rules set by SB1384? Specifically the audio / video requirements.

Is there any legal challenge to this new law coming? Based on what I'm seeing right now, the costs are only going to shrink my margins even further than they already are.

Suggest you post this on the "FFL's Only" forum.

So, now it is ironic that the State whittles away at the right of its citizens to defend themselves from the possible oppression of their State.

I'm packing it up. Done after 15 years. I refuse to support my FFL with my day job. I cannot wait to retire and leave this stupid state.

I know it's exactly what the state wants, but honestly we're probably going to do the same. My fianc?e and I have been working nonstop to get our shop off the ground, but it seems like the state has a new trick to keep FFL's down at every turn. We'll probably be in Texas this time next year

I spoke with my DOJ Rep a couple of days ago. She advised that the implementation of Sec. 26806 has not been decided as yet. She did not know if it was going to affect home FFL's nor how. She advised there was going to be a team meeting sometime prior to 1/1/24 at which time particulars would be determined.
I wouldn't leap to far too fast... It's all still in limbo.

For you that are FFL's, I suggest you subscribe to the "FFL ONLY" forum. That topic and others are constantly being discussed.
If you've had trouble getting on, PM Kestryl with your FFL particulars.
