    PPT OFF ROSTER?

I just ran into this issue at sportsman?s warehouse in Elk Grove where they wouldn?t accept a PPT because my gun was off roster. Is every store doing that now? I haven?t hear any new laws about ppt transfers with off roster guns. Could someone point me in the right direction where I could.

    Thanks!

It is just a policy at Sportsman's, they just started doing it within the last year or two.

And in any case, a big box store is the last place you should PPT - like only if there is no other FFL for 50 miles would I ever consider doing a PPT at Sportsmans.

PPT is exempt from the Roster; your Elk Grove store is not following any legal restrictions when they refuse such a transfer.

But, you won’t change their minds; find a different FFL.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Thanks for the information! That was the only store open on sundays near me. Didn’t expect it to be a problem.
