Is the buyer required to pay tax on a gun that he is buying on consignment? is there a fixed fee for consigment purchases like the $35 ppt fixed fee? please advise. thanks

If the firearm is being sold for someone ("on consignment") by the dealer, then yes the dealer is required to collect sales tax.sigpicNRA Life Member

If the dealer is involved with finding a buyer and/or involved with the price that it is sold for, then it is a taxable purchase.
